Research
My research interests focus on political campaigns and public relations, strategic communication and media effects, as well as public relations in the age of social media. I have contributed to the theoretical development of agenda-building and agenda-setting theories that describe media and other information sources’ influence on people regarding what and how they understand certain topics. I have also demonstrated the usefulness of these theories in several communication contexts in the US and the global world.
